You all remember my impulsive (and illogical) buy a few months back? That cheap 4 in one book combo that called itself, Winter Warmer Collection. This is one of the books. and well, because it still classifies as a book, i’m posting about it. I have a feeling that this will be the only book from the pack that I’ll come close to enjoying. Not much romance and more suspense/action. I thought it was going to be one of those lame “suspense” novels that are a poor excuse for a love story.

Charlotte Dow is an FBI Agent whose twin sister was murdered by the “Sunday Killer”–a killer on the loose who targets girls who have an affair with married men. She is determined to solve the case as the killer murders more girls each year/week.

She’s given a new partner, Agent Nick Brannigan–who surprise surprise, happens to be tall, dark and handsome.

They form a special friendship and later on apprehend the what should be unexpected suspect (but made a bit predictable with how the story is laid out).

I felt like i just read an episode of CSI or one of those smarty-pants police /detective/forensic shows.

Marie Ferrarella, the author.
